The city of canyons, hot as hell all day Tornadoes in the alley, turbulent air
Event horizon, we’re not even sure we care
Trouble is brewing, I feel it all around People all over on shaky ground Discontent out on the streets Tempers flaring in the dust and heat
Fruits of love
Yours and mine
Would see brighter days In another time
What bought us here And has come to pass Heavy weather
Surely cannot last
Dark clouds, flood waters rising
We don’t change, hardly surprising
I might sigh and you may frown
But we can see it’s all coming down
